So, since updating my laptop I've been having issues with my drawing tablet.

Nothing too big but if I unplug it, it won't connect until I restart my whole laptop. The same happens if it goes into sleep mode where it'll just keep reconnecting and then disconnecting.

My drawing tablet is almost 10 years old and it works great I'm just having connection issues since updating my laptop. I'm unsure why it's giving me problems tbf.

I don't know if it's from the new Windows 11 update or not. i did drop a small can onto my tablet so I'm wondering if that had an impact (I've dropped my tablet on concrete before.) I've also tried different USB ports, it seems to just be my tablet but also my tablet needs a windows display link download thing (I forgot the actual name) and that got a few updates.

Maybe I'm just overthinking it. She's still working just fine, but I think I'll look into getting a new tablet soon.

I'm giving my drawing tablet a break for today and will try not to use it just to give it a break :) worst comes to worst I always have my smaller Wacom tablet (I fucking hate Wacom lol)

I'm using a Parblo Coast 10, I plan to get the Parblo Coast 10 Pro if I need to for 400$

Anyways, No art for a few days maybe? I might post some character designs since I always make them in my note book or just post silly photos haha!

So I've always wondered this as an artist who mainly makes OC contact

Do you, as a viewer, prefer OC contact, content that has been made fully by the artist and shows off how much love they have for their work or fan-made contact, contact that shows how much an artist loves a form of media and the love and care they put into their fanart to show how much they love the game/show/whatever?

I myself enjoy seeing both forms of content from artists, I love to see how people write and create their own work but I also love seeing fanart and how people draw different types of media in their art style y'know?

So I want to hear what people think about this topic and what you prefer to see as an artist/viewer.

I don't know why I feel so drained.

Like I'm not even working, I have just been trying to draw for the past few days and I just feel so sleepy.

I'm getting the sleep I need, like I sleep for 8-10 hours so I don't understand.

I don't think I'm stressed? Maybe I just need more sleep???

Idk maybe I'm dying lol

Gonna try and make some art but I might just take a longggggggggg break

The other day, everything got cancelled.

It was too late for me to go home as I had already made my way to campus so I was stuck there til someone could drive me home.

I stayed in my classroom, getting some tests done and just waiting for someone to text me back about a drive home.

This random man in his early 20s approaches me and starts talking with me.

I had no idea who this was but we talked for hours, just about random stuff. Our partners, our classes, what we're studying, Christmas.

At one point he just started to tease me, as if he knew me for years, as if we'd been friends for a while. He found out that I was a year ahead of him and he started calling me nicknames like "Ma'ma" or "Boss", saying that he needed to show respect for graduating students.

It was cute.

Suddenly his tone changes, it's soft and fragile. He looks at me and tells me it's a shame that he can't talk with me longer,, he went on about how I'm a good person, a perfect person.

I was taken a back by that, this random person who I've known for only 3 hours looks at me and think I'm perfect.

I didn't know how to feel, what person meets someone and already believes them to be perfect? What did this random man see in me?

I don't even remember what we talked about, I didn't think the chat had any value.

But this person had value for it, so much to the point where he felt sad or upset that he wouldn't see me again and be able to chat. All he could see in me was perfection and I could see it in his eyes that all he could see was just that. Perfection.

Haha, maybe it was just what I was working on that made him think I was a good person or maybe I'm just that hot!!!!

It made my day to have someone call me that. So I though I'd blog about it lol.

GOD DAMN Y'ALL

I normally don't like my art much and always see mistakes and issues.

But this past year, I've been feeling so damn good about my art.

Like, I can see how far my art has come,

how far my character designs have come.

I feel like God himself has taken over my body and blessed me with skills.

I know I'm not super good, like god-level good of course but I can see how much I've improved and that makes me so damn happy.

I am legit so proud of myself and how much I've changed.

I can't wait to draw more and keep improving.

I hope I'm not coming off as selfish or cocky I'm just really happy and I have no one to talk to about it eeeeeeee
