I draw content for my story called Project Soul Life. That's all I ever draw, and maybe some cool stuff here and there.
P.S: I do draw adult content sometimes.

Little miss yapper

Hey, so, kinda just wanted to ask something?

I’ve been wondering if me posting so much bothers people.

I've always been a fast artist and I post my art after it’s done but I feel like I boarded on spamming art?

it’s not like I’ve been posting stop content or anything like that, I’ve just been thinking that people are probably sick of seeing my art so much since I literally post a new drawing every day, sometimes even more.

so yeah, just wondering how some of y’all feel about this?

sorry if I seem odd i just don’t wanna be an annoying artist lol

It seems like a valid concern to me, but I do not think there could ever be a valid answer to this question.

If somebody follows merely a handful of artists, every release of a new piece of art will be a 'special treat' for them at the beginning (or end) of their "Newgrounds-day".

If somebody follows 500+ artists, their feed is probably completely unusable.
( @IronMountain, @Tyhond, @Tango... Do you have anything to add to that? ;) )

As the late great TotalBiscuit once said: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." As long as you are pleased with the quality of the work you release and have the time and energy to create it, you should publish 'as much as you can muster without burning yourself out'.

I liked the "A" rated piece you recently submitted, btw. A great piece of adult humor. :3

I think I'm worried people think I'm an AI slop content farm.

I've been getting comments on my tiktok saying that there's no way I can create so much art in such little time without being AI and its like??? I have videos and even livestreams of me drawing? but that's a big part of why I feel like I'm annoying people with all my posting or worse, they think I'm AI.

I have good time management skills and that's all. I wake up, go to work (10 hours) come home, do chores, if I cant draw that day then oh well, but if I can I normally get something small done. Big projects like Project Soul Life Key artwork or comics are saved for the weekends but sometimes get posted in the middle of the week if I forget or need to do touch ups.

ALSO THANKKKK YOUUUU, I'm thinking about editing that one and remaking it :) I made it while I was super drunk LMAO

@TVisDaddy I laughed when I read "I think I'm worried people think I'm an AI slop content farm."

This will sound _WILD_ coming from me, but you should spend an hour or two with 'looking' at AI slop.

AI-generated images "can" be technically well-executed, but are always this overly smooth, overly curvy mishmash. When somebody has seen a lot of art in their time they look at such an image with their "Now, what was it the artist wanted to express here"-gaze and gets the response "...that they are completely hollow inside!"

Your art style is far too original to be mistaken for AI-generated images. That being said: You should practice lighting and shading. ;)

As for the TikTok-comments: I'd say they are 'either' trolls or people who are genuinely jealous who do _not_ know what they are even talking about.
Not to be rude, but as I alluded to before: If you 'had' generated those images with AI, they would have been "polished" into oblivion, because "AI, add some shadows and elaborate backgrounds" takes _seconds_.
(Feel free to forward what I said to them. I do not mind being rude to people who did not do their homework before they made big accusations.)

As for the 'adult humor': Thank YOU! That silly little animation is so fantastical genuine just the way it is. It also neatly expresses your playful 'artist spirit'. ;)
(That probably translated weirdly, but I'll leave it like that.)
But also: Please drink responsibly. Alcohol can cause cancer - which is something rarely talked about. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_and_cancer )

Thats good to know! I get with all my Art Fight post why some people may think its AI since a lot of it is just the same drawing but with a different OC (I only do headshots for art fight unless the character is like, small or simple shapes) but like, you can see my pen makings lol.
I've been practicing shading a lot :D I've overcome my worry of using ref photos, and I'll ask my husband to help me with poses so I can get the right lighting :3

tbf tho I think I'm always gonna have issues with shading, my eyes don't like, see light the same as other people? idk how to explain it tbf just my brain knows where the light or the shade is coming from and where it is but it flips it and shit??? idk how to explain it all at lmao BUT YEAHHH, I've been doing a lot more studies with ref photos and my husband :3 (He also looks over my art next to the ref photos before I bent in my shading aaaa)

As for TikTok:
I think a lot of younger artists don't understand time management, or they overwork themselves. For me, a 10-hour work day is nothing. I've done 10-hour work days for years, I know how to manage myself so I can come home and work on a drawing for a few hours. For artfight, as I said, I'm only pumping out headouts that take about 2-3 hours to make, and I normally have 5 hours after work before I go to bed lol.
I think so many young artists think they need to make masterpieces each day. As you can see on my page (and this may also be what you meant about the shading/light), I make more flat colored drawings than I do fully rendered pieces. I don't care about making full, rendered drawings unless it's for key story art. I've also been drawing since I was 5 and have been using the same art program (SAI, my beloved) for over 15 years now. I'm going to be able to draw fast with how many years I have under my belt lmao. TLDR: I legit just draw for fun and that's it lmao.
So I think these artists look at my work and how fast I can draw something and go "I can't do that so no one else can, therefore its AI." Children think like this, and a lot of the people I see claiming I've used AI are minors or children. (I hate how many minors are on TikTok :( It's not a safe place for them.

OK BACK TO THE ADULT HUMOR
YES IT WAS SO FUN TO MAKE LMAOOOOOOOO

Also don't worry about my drinking! Because of my job, I don't drink at all unless I've been given a week off (rare.) :) I actually can't even handle a lot of alcohol because I am 4'9ft :'D I drink half a can and that's my limit before I get too drunk haha.

@TVisDaddy The Art Forum ( https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/forum/14 ) might or might know simple tricks when it comes to 'light direction'. In my experience: If one artist has a certain problem, then a lot of other artists had exactly the same problem and several of them have overcome it.

"For me, a 10-hour work day is nothing." O_O
Erm... "Proletarians of all countries unite!"
For me it's more like the closer the weekend, the closer I am to _death_. Regular work and chore are almost enough to kill me and on some days NG tries to finish the job the other two have left unfinished. ;) (I know: I'm doing it to myself...)

As for the mindset of the TikTok-commenters: You might be on the right track there. In gaming communities, the accusations can often be summarized as "Everyone with a worse "highscore" than me is a noob; everyone with a higher "highscore" is unemployed or a cheater!"

As for 'minors on the internet'... I have 'opinions' on that:
